SAROJINI NAIDU

Sarojini Naidu, known by the name "Nightingale of India". She was born in a Bengali family in Hyderabad on 3th Feb 1879. She was the first women president of the Indian National Congress. She was a poet Indian politician. "Bharat kokila" ar "Nightingale of India" was the first women Governor of Uttar Pradesh.BNaidu and Her family were from Hyderabad. Aghorenath chattopadhyay, her father was principal of Hyderabad college and a philosopher Varada Sundari Devi, Her mother also a wrote poel. She complete her education in Madras and cambridge college from London. 

She was an intelligent child. Her first poem was "The Golden Threshold and many more like The Bird of Time, The Bazaars of Hyderabad, The Broken wing and The Lady of the Lake are published. Her poctry includes naturelovs

romance, patriotism and happiness. It was said that, she wrote beautiful poetry and she encourage by people for his beautiful poetry.In 1898, She returred to India and got marriage to Dr. Muthyala Govndarajulu Naidu, a physician from south India with the regards to there families they got marriage. They had four children.

In 1905, Naidu join the bharat freedom struggle and met the leaders such as Mahatma Gandhi, Rabindranath Tagore, Gopal krishna Gokhale. She travelled to the different countnes to speak about the Indian Nationalist cause. In 1925, Naidu was elected as the president of the Indian congress party. She join the satyagraha movement of non-violent against British rule. She also participated in the non cooperetion movement. When Gandhiji arrested during the movement, Naidu has appointed as the leader of new leader of the movement. She donate his entire life for the freedom of India. Got arrest in 1942 and imprisonment. After the independence of India in 1947. She was appointed as the governor of Uttar Pradesh. She left the earth due to heart attack on 2nd march while working in her office.
